I'm ready for Wisconsin!!
The Collie is a large but lithe herder standing anywhere from 22 to 26 inches tall. The rough variety boasts one of the canine kingdom’s most impressively showy coats; the smooth coat’s charms are subtler but no less satisfying.
Coat colors in both varieties are sable and white, tricolor, blue merle, or white. Collie fanciers take pride in their breed’s elegant wedge-shaped head, whose mobile ears and almond eyes convey a wide variety of expressions . . .
First there was Kali . . .
. . . then there was Daisy.
Rudy start out January with a little 'mousing' down in the Wilds. He's fast . . . but not fast enough!
He and his buddy Rocky like to play king of the hill, and both feel they are Kings. It's a guy thing!
It was time for Rudy and MJ to take down the 2024 Christmas tree incuding Rudy's custom made ornament . . .
. . . that he carefuly packed away until next Christmas.
Rudy has started Agility Classes again and he loves it! Each dog performs alone and the others must wait in their own kennel . . .
. . . and of course Rudy always wants to know when will it be his turn again!!
Rudy continues his daily adventures throughout the mostly snow free February . .
. . . checking out his favorite summer hausnts and wonders . . . 'I wonder what's in there?'
He loves to stop by buddies Nancy and Bob's for a visit . . .
. . . but sadly he missed them on todays walk.
After all the adventure there is always time for a puppy nap with his buddy LambChop!!
The no-winter weaather continued with temp most days reaching into the 50's and even the mid 60'! . . .
. . . until the 22nd when we got hit with a 5 inch snowfall.
Rudy and all his puppy friends had a big time romping around in the snow again . . . and on the way home thought it was time to do a 'table' and have a snack!!
"Well at least I'm not the last pooch of the day. I hope they still have treats left!!"
"I wonder why they alwasys ask me the same questions everytime I check in here?"
". . . .mmmm, no treats in there!"
"Oh, that looks familiar."
"Are you going to stick that in me?"
"ahhh . . . finally cheese wiz and liver snacks, my favorite!!!!! "
"OK, Im ready"
While Rudy was busy with the snacks he received a shot and his anal glands were 'expressed'. He didn't like that but felt much better after it was done.
"Well at least I'm not the last pooch of the day. I hope they still have treats left!!"

Rudy had a big time with his buddy Maple . . . lots of posing and lots or treats. Rudy spent over 4 weeks at his other buddy Louisa's during the last two months!
A 'big blow' in the hood this month and Rudy was on patrol . . .
. . . looking for lost property, missing children or wayward cookies!!
Lots of rain too!
. . . and new road construction . . .
. . . making sure the asphalt packing is proceeding as it should
Willow is a new verson of an old friend Lilly and has been welcomed to the neighborhood pack . . .
. . . with Rudy being 3 years old now, he needs to help teach the young ones manners. It wasn't that long ago Lilly had that job in dealing with him!!
Willow gets a new bag of 'new puppy' toys from Rudy . . .
It was BIG fun!!!

Rudy has had quite the summer and has had, many adventures with the others puppies in the hood and exploring the Wilds with emJay.
